The Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Südwestpfalz made another interrogation in July with the persons who had asked Manager Wolfgang Getfert for consultation in the subject of founding a business. There were found out 23 successful start-ups since summer 2010.  That shows that even in a difficult space of time the founding of businesses may be successful. The number of foundations has increased for in 2009  there were only 17 and in 2010 20 new enterprises.
That there were only 6 women founding an enterprise. The female part has removed strongly compared with the recent years. 16
start-ups were in services, 5 in crafts and 2 in catering trade. All of them are very small-sized enterprises. But some of them may have a good chance for growing up. 17 start-ups came from persons which were out of work.
5 successful start-ups happened in the Verbandsgemeinde Dahner Felsenland, 4 in the Verbandsgemeinde Pirmasens-Land, 3 in the Verbandsgemeinde Zweibrücken-Land, 2 in the Verbandsgemeinden Rodalben, Waldfischbach-Burgalben and Wallhalben and 1 in the Verbandsgemeinden Hauenstein and Thaleischweiler-Fröschen and in the City of Pirmasens and in the City of Zweibrücken.
18 persons left the intention off, four of them found a new job. To 4 other persons the contact got lost. At the moment, there are still 25 open intentions assisted by the WFG left.
